Coach Thad Update ��❤️
Dear Seahawks Families,
We’re writing to share some news about Coach Thad. After much thought and consideration, Coach Thad has decided that after 15 seasons with the Seahawks, he will not be returning to coach next season. While this was not an easy decision for him, he is focusing on spending more time with family.
As Thad shared with us:
“Coaching here has been one of the great joys of my life. I love the sport of competitive swimming, the community, and the many summers that I've had the opportunity to coach and introduce kids to the sport.”
Coach Thad has made a lasting impact on so many of our swimmers and families over the years, and we’re incredibly grateful for his leadership, dedication, and positive energy. We know he’ll always be a Seahawk at heart, and we hope you’ll join us in wishing him all the best in his next chapter!
We’ll be honoring Coach Thad and all of his contributions at the Awards Breakfast this Sunday. He’s looking forward to ending his final season on a high note at City this weekend and to seeing everyone Sunday morning to celebrate!
We’ll be reaching out to families prior to Sunday so that everyone has the opportunity to express their appreciation. More info to come!
As we look ahead, we are starting the search for a new head coach for next season and will keep everyone updated as progress is made.
